Do less doesn’t mean do nothing, it means DO LESS. Dress simple, dress chic.
Fashion week in Houston is always fun, although short, and as usual I’m keeping it simple and clean. A red dress, paired with black booties and my favorite killaaa Chanel bag are three key pieces in my wardrobe that never fail me. Sleek with a little ruffle, this loose-fitting Zara dress is an easy throw-on and go. Dressed up with chic black booties – okay, has anyone ever gone wrong with chic black booties? I don’t think so (via Michael Kors). And a vintage Chanel bag? Check. Enough said.
This event was so fun! My friend Holly and I attended the FW16: The Luxe Show, presented by Vogue and Simon Mall @ The Galleria, and had a blast sipping champagne, catching up with old friends, and watching the new trends stride up and down the double runway. The event takes place above the ice rink, and was decked out in white flowers, white curtains, and sprouts of thick greenery which was the perfect backdrop for the show. I stopped taking pictures because the show was that good! However, some of my favorites were La Perla US, John Varvatos, and Neiman Marcus. Holly (below) is always chic as ever in a black knit, with wavy hair and black lace-up heels.
